We serve two fundraising meals each month that we call Jessie's Table. The second Monday of the month is cooked-to-order Steak Night, and the fourth Monday is all-you-care-to-eat Rib Night. We request a minimum donation of $18 per guest, but we ask you to Pay It Forward with a more generous contribution to support the free community meal we serve every Sunday. Seating begins at 4:30 PM in Walker House, 724 Walnut Street, Murphysboro Illinois.

Steak Night on Monday August 11 includes a top sirloin steak cooked to order by chef Aaron Barnett, with garden salad, baked potato, green beans, 724 Rolls, your choice of beverage, and a custom dessert from For Goodness Cakes. Rib Night on Monday August 25 includes all you care to eat St. Louis style pork ribs, smokey mac and cheese, broccoli and cauliflower salad, 724 Rolls, and your choice of beverage topped off with a gooey butter cookie from For Goodness Cakes.

We call these Events Jessie's Table to honor Jessie Wall Daniel who lived in the house where serve meals most of here life from birth to her passing. She and her mother Mary Wall before her maintained a family tradition of reaching out to people in need. They would be honored to know that their home is now being used to feed hungry people every Sunday at our Dinner on the House meal.
